whats the difference between normal weight gain and pregnancy weight gain??

i mean like does it feel harder or like do you get “rolls” when your pregnant i know that pregnancy weight gain means you’re pregnant!!

    pregnancy weight gain is gain weight due to child growth. normal weight gain is you getting fat.

    normal people can gain or lose weight every day, when your pregnant your suppose to gain weight to help with your baby’s growth and such.

    I gained a lot of weight when I was pregnant…70lbs. The only thing that was hard was my belly. Everything else was jiggly. You can lose it though. One year later and I am only 5lbs heavier than my pre-pregnancy weight.

    It depends on your height and weight, or body mass index (BMI), before you conceived.

    If pre-pregnancy weight was in the healthy range for your height according to your healthcare provider (a BMI of 18.5 to 24.9), you should gain between 25 and 35 pounds, gaining 2 to 5 pounds in the first trimester and about 1 pound per week for the rest of your pregnancy for the optimal growth of your baby.

    If you were underweight for your height at conception (a BMI below 18.5), you should gain 28 to 40 pounds. If you were overweight for your height (a BMI of 25 to 29.9), you should gain 15 to 25 pounds. If you were obese (a BMI of 30 or higher), you should gain no more than 15 pounds. If you’re having twins you should gain about 35 to 45 pounds.

    When you are not pregnant, you don’t gain weight as fast as if you were. It’s gradual over time. Pregnancy weight comes on much faster.

    Unless you work out, your skin wouldn’t be hard…
