I’d say drink Boost or something along the lines of that. Protein drinks help you gain weight and give you a good source of some vitamins. Eating carbs helps you gain weight too..like spaghetti, breads, or potatoes. Don’t go overboard though! :)

    Quick answer:
    Eat lots.

    Long answer:
I’m a guy, but I ‘m 5’10″ and I used to weigh 135 pounds. I used to eat anything and everything, but I always stayed at 135. So to gain weight I ate lots of food. I mean LOTS. It’s about 22 months after I started and I now weigh 180 pounds. I eat about 3,500 calories worth of food a day, where 2,000 is normal for a male. I usually eat until I feel completely full at each meal. So, the long answer is eat lots…

The basic idea is that your body uses so many calories a day just to keep you walking around and breathing and all that good stuff. High metabolism people just use more than regular people. If you eat more calories than that, then your body needs to do something with the extra stuff, so it stores it (as fat or muscle). I recommend counting how many calories you eat per day for a few days or a week and then try to add about 250 – 500 per day to that total. Then just watch the scale and adjust how much you eat as it becomes necessary. … Just try to stay away from the sugary treats!

Gaining weight is easy, increase your calorie intake. To gain weight healthily, I would recommend increasing your muscle mass by doing stuff like lifting weights and move away from exercises like aerobics/running. The goal is to build muscle in the right spots and not burn off every little calorie. Nothing is hotter than a fit, firm, and defined woman. Even if your metabolize is super high it won’t burn off muscle, unless you starve yourself, so you can keep your new curves with only minor upkeep.

Over all, a healthy body is an attractive body, so don’t worry too much about it.

You may want to look at what female body builders do to gain weight. As the daughter of an amateur body builder, I do know ways you could gain weight while staying healthy. You will want to add lots of protein along with fiber to balance it out. You know the stuff that you’re normally meant to stay away from? You can eat that. You still want to stay away from cane sugar, so try adding fruit to your diet too, for good sugar. Cane sugar totally messes up your pancreas’ way of balancing your blood sugar level.

I still say that your best bet is to research female body building techniques, but bring it down to your level. You can post on different forums, like BodyBuilding.com and ask questions there. Many will give you great feedback since they know what they’re talking about. And you can contact me here on yahoo also. I can give better feedback via email and send you plenty of resources. Personally I try to stay lean since I don’t want to gain, haha.

    Either way, good luck. :)
