You need your balls to drop for weight training to work.

Weight training WILL gain you mass, you just need to do less reps and more weight.

Try creatine, it helps big time for skinny people.

Edit: Don’t listen to that dumbass below you. I know for SURE, that in High School sports (and general lifting), that if you want to gain mass you need low reps (8-10 times to next to failure), and three sets.

Less weight and more reps just makes your muscles more toned and get better endurance (you might want to do this for your leg).

You might not have the body type for that type of stuff but some tips are Weight lifting 50-200 pounds 40 reps. or you can eat high protein meats such as STEAK, EGGS, PROTEIN SHAKE MIXES, PROTEIN BARS. also consistentially work out with weights and do at least 100 push ups a day and after a month or so you should be ripped like a mini bodybuilder. lol. or…. if your really desperate………………and none of these things work after doing them for a month or so……………………you…. can…… take….. some…… ROIDS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! even though they are illegal and shrink you penis. and can cause you too kill people. lolz

Edit: Don’t listen to the idiot above me, he obviously does not know what he is talking about. Doing 40 reps slowly to work the muscles will rip you very fast most likely in 15 to 30 days!!!!!!!

Personally, I do not believe that you need to gain any weight. However, I believe that you can benefit from making a position change. Based on your height and weight, I believe that the best fit for you is at the wide receiver position. For your age, you have the ideal size for a high school wide receiver.

What you need to do this autumn (and every offseason) is eat healthy, and exercise by doing a lot of running every day. If you do these two things, you will get faster, stronger, and into better shape, which will greatly improve your chances of becoming a successful high school football player.
