as far as showing goes it is different with most women. some begin to show around 3 months and some much later. some may even notice a change before 3 months. i would definitely check with your dr about any exercises just to be sure… but it’s important not to overheat!! take care.

everyone shows at different times, but 5 months seems to be the most common…i don’t think hot yoga would be very safe, you aren’t supposed to get too heated. your baby is a few degrees warmer than you and he/she can’t regulate its body temp. i’d def ask your doctor.

    1.show anytime from 4-6 months
2.no hot yoga is not safe. the sweating puspose is to make you lose weight. thats not good for a pregnant woman.
3.eat healthy dont indulge on whatever you see. go to the gym walk to the treadmill, ect. light excercises

    1. I reckon about 4-5 months is average, but it varies for every single woman

    2. no hot yoga isn’t safe, because using a sauna isn’t safe as its too hot and this isn’t good for the baby

    3. you can walk, walking is always great and will boost your circulation, giving you less swollen feet, also you can go to normal yoga classes as long as your instructor knows you are pregnant and is trained in coaching pregnant women, they also have special pregnancy classes which will be a lot better cos you can make friends who you can keep for years to come as your children will grow up together

    1. Depends on your size now (height and weight) and the condition you’re already in. Short women show pretty early because there’s not as much room inside for the baby. Women with strong stomach muscles don’t show as early, but it’s too late to fix that.

    2. NO. Being overheated is NOT a good idea.

    3. Don’t concern yourself with the numbers. What’s important is having a healthy baby. If you concentrate on eating healthy foods, drinking lots of water, and exercise that’s easy on your joints and back, you’ll be OK. Frankly, you may not have the energy to exercise much. Don’t worry about it. Swimming is a great exercise if you have a place to do it. No hot tubs!

My daughter’s karate teacher was in excellent shape and still able to do karate through all three of her pregnancies, but even she had to back off some.

Besides the other benefits of nursing, it can help you lose the baby weight faster.

Good luck! Listen to your doctor! If you don’t gain enough weight, you can cause problems for your baby.

Everyone is different i am 15weeks or so and am 7st and i have a little bump, it depends on size and body weight position of child etc when u will start to show usually round 3-4mths, enjoy it i love it.
Dont worry too much about your weight just eat sensibly and eat normally dont eat for 2. eat a good varied diet lots of calcium and iron. As for exercise light exercise is good. walking, swimming, etc yoga is good but not ‘hot yoga’ as too much heat or a rise in temperature can cause miscarriage. (sever rise in temp) hence why parcetmol when have a temp.

You will show when you show every woman is different and loads of factors need to be considered such as babies position your build whether this a first or subsequent pregnancy the list goes on. I know yoga is safe during pregnancy in fact there is a book called yoga for pregnancy which details which positions are safe in which trimester its very good.Unfortunately I can’t find it or remember who it is by. Hot yoga is totally new to me however it may not be a great idea because pregnancy can make you lightheaded at the best of times and exercising in excessive heat may make you feel unwell. Exercise is fine in pregnancy so long as you do not exceed what is normal for you. So if you run it is ok to continue but don’t start running if you didn’t before. So carry on with the yoga, swimming is good as that also helps keep muscle tone which will help in labour, walking is great. Stay away from extreme sports and obviously any sport with high risk of injury. Just use your common sense and if something feels uncomfortable stop straight away. To prevent yourself from putting on huge amounts of weight eat healthily, small regular meals and avoid fatty high sugar foods as they are more likely to make you sick anyway. Plus to help get your figure back after birth breastfeeding helps a lot. Also pelvic floor exercises everyday all the way through and carry on afterwards, your figure, bladder and partner will thank you if you do.
